Her background in architecture and community-based development has been put to good use in the product sourcing and development department. Marion Sproul

Marion Sproul brought over 20 years experience in the food business and a real passion for foods of the world and for the people who produce them with her when she joined us as our first employee. She became a partner 2 years later and moved on to National Sales Director. She worked on the Portland Slow Food convivium and was a member of the American Cheese Society. She spent 12 years helping us grow our little company to a national powerhouse and in May of 2014 retired to her dream farm, south of Eugene, OR to grow vegetables, raise goats and someday make cheese.

Pere Selles

Pere Selles, co-founder and a native of Barcelona, started his career in the food business in the Spanish restaurants of Chicago in 1992. When he moved to Seattle in 1995, he discovered that the city was devoid of Spanish cuisine, and made his personal quest to remedy the situation. Pere loves outdoors activities, is a former Ironman racer and avid mountain biker, and currently spends most of his time running after his 3-year-old son. He lives in Seattle with his wife Gingi, son Xavi, dog Baxter and Tux (the cat). Pere sits on the board for a Community Fund in southern Colorado and serves in the management committee for a 36,000 acres forest land under a Nature Conservancy easement in Colorado.

Antonio Guadamuz

Antonio Guadamuz, Regional Sales Manager and general “void filler,” hails from a family of small food producers and growers in Nicaragua. A strong connection to his own heritage fuels his passion for preserving our global food cultures. Antonio brings experience as a farmer, where he worked with a team to transform a former Superfund site into a 22-acre biodynamic farm. He has also provided small food retailers with marketing and inventory management support. Antonio loves exploring cuisines from around the world and cooking for his friends and family.

Eric-Davis

Eric Davis, West Coast Sales Director, has over 30 years in the food industry. With an extensive background in specialty food retailing and sales, gourmet food became more than a career for Eric, it became a passion as well. He has always enjoyed traveling and as a result has a love and appreciation for different cultures. Eric and his wife Annabelle, who is originally from Guatemala, make their home in Portland, Oregon along with their adult autistic son who brings them much joy.

Nancy Arum

Nancy Arum, a seasoned veteran in the Specialty Food Industry drives sales on the East Coast. Nancy was the director of sales for Scharffen Berger Chocolate Maker prior to its sale to Hershey, and most recently she has worked as a consultant helping emerging brands in natural and specialty foods, such as Kallari Chocolates and Gorilla Coffee. Prior to sales and consulting, Nancy was a freelance journalist with an extensive list of articles in such periodicals as the NY Times and New York Magazine as well as having authored the book, Ice Cream & Ices (Harper Row). One of Nancy’s current passions is Housing Works in NYC, where she serves as a Board Member.

Christine Weiss

Christine Weiss joins Culinary Collective with over 10 years of experience in the fields of food, beverage and nutrition. She holds a Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from renowned Bastyr University along with a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Indiana University. Her diverse background in nutrition, culinary arts, Spanish language and culture, public relations and communications is an asset in her position as Director of Marketing Communications/Regional Sales Manager at Culinary Collective. She is thrilled to be part of a company that brings all her passions together in one place! On the weekends, beyond seeking out the latest coffee houses to hit the Seattle scene, you can find Chrissy getting her yoga on, reading up on the latest in modern green interior design, or in the studio practicing her aerial routines.

Jeff Scott

Jeff Scott, our Logistics Manager, served as a linguist in the military for 7 years before chasing his passion all the way to New York to attend the Culinary Institute of America. He is now devoted to the food industry and loves to cook delicious meals at home with his wife and fellow CIA graduate, Stephanie. Being a recent transplant to the Seattle area, Jeff spends much of his free time exploring the local food scene, learning what to forage from the forests and coasts of the Pacific Northwest, and hiking with his wife and their Australian cattle dog, Kenya.

Nancy Redman

Nancy Redman  is celebrating 10 years with Culinary Collective. Starting as our bookkeeper, she is now our Office Manager and Controller. Nancy has a love for cooking and experimenting in the kitchen which, lucky for us, she shares with her co-workers (it isn’t unusual for her to come to a meeting with three different homemade exotic sorbet flavors in tow). Besides being a numbers guru and a whiz in the kitchen, in her spare time Nancy loves to garden and camp with her son, Roman. Nancy is always up for adventure – her motto is ‘I’ll try anything twice.’

Kathleen Janick

Kathleen has a diverse background in marketing, technology and sales – from building IT systems for banks, to exporting French wine to Asia. She is excited to be a part of Culinary Collective and supporting sales in the Midwest.

Gavin Haugman

Gavin Haugen, our logistics assistant, is a self-professed news junkie, always keeping up on current events. And his never ending search for the perfect cup of coffee keeps him on the go. When not working, Gavin can be found performing with his band, the Guns of Nevada, around the Seattle area.

Karen Mamula

Karen Mamula originally hails from Southern California but has spent the last 17 years enjoying Seattle living. With 12 years experience in the Specialty Food industry, with both inside and outside sales and customer support experience, Karen is a great asset to our company and customers.  She loves to cook, try new recipes and entertain with friends.  When she isn’t cooking she enjoys boating, camping and watching her husband and two sons play baseball.

Julianne
Julianne Tootell, an East Coast transplant, is passionate about exploring culture through food. After volunteering on small vineyards in Italy and sustainable farms in Puerto Rico, she realized the food industry was where she belonged. Julianne’s work with farm-to-table eateries and small-scale food production make her a natural fit for Culinary Collective and her customer liaison and inside sales role. When she’s not exploring other cultures through her own kitchen, she’s out hiking in the Cascades with her dog Charlie, or finding something to climb.
